Stan and Debbie ‘excited to be back in Soton’ for Xmas festivities - bungee, Ferris wheel & log cabins

Manchester couple Stan and Debbie Reeves are once again making the trip down to bring a little Christmas magic to Southampton.

Locals may remember that their company, S&D Leisure, saved the day last year when the council’s German market supplier pulled out at the last minute.

Following the impromptu success of last year’s offering, they’ve returned to set up this year’s Christmas market in Above Bar and Guildhall Square in the city centre.

Stan and Debbie are no strangers to taking their family-owned business on the road, previously running festive attractions in Lincoln, Stoke, Preston and Bournemouth.

“We’re excited to be back in Southampton”, said Stan.

“We have some amazing new attractions, including the world’s tallest mobile bungee, the UK’s tallest mobile Ferris wheel, and some stunning new illuminations which are going to be showcased on the historic Bargate monument each evening.

“There’ll be some fantastic traders in the traditional log cabins, and there’s something in the market for all the family, young and old.

“Other events and entertainment will be taking place in the build up to the big day making Southampton a must-visit destination this Christmas.”

The market opens on Thursday 16th November and runs until Tuesday 2nd January 2024.
