A workspace hub designed with tradespeople in mind has launched in Ringwood.
TradePod, located on the Millstream Trading Estate, provides the usual hot desks, private offices and meeting and social spaces.
But as a specialist facility, it’s also offering workshop space, secure storage for tools and preferential rates on tool, van and cherry picker hire.
Plus, members have access to professional services like admin assistance, bookkeeping, recruitment and marketing.
TradePod is the brainchild of Poole businessman Anthony Tilley, who’s keen to create a real community for trades businesses.
“At the heart of TradePod is its community,” said Anthony.
“Not only will our members benefit from a flexible and nurturing environment that helps them save on overhead costs and maximises their efficiency, but they’ll also become part of a network of trades businesses – all listed proudly on the TradePod website.
“This public showcase will help members to build their reputation and brand awareness and also connect with potential clients and other trades professionals.”
Anthony has assembled a team of local business professionals to manage the centre and scale the operation, including Ami Norian, Luke Ashbee, Stuart Hartley, John Pearson and Alison Tilley.
“We understand the unique challenges tradespeople face,” Anthony added.
“Our mission is to create a space where trades businesses can focus on their craft while we handle the details – whether it’s offering them office space or workshop facilities, accessing exclusive discounts, making sure they never miss a lead or simply just connecting them with a network of like-minded professionals.”
