The Bugle pub in Hamble has a new general manager in Dave Roberts, who has big plans for a busy calendar of events.
He’s already launched monthly ‘locals’ nights’ with live music, as well as weekly ‘fizz Fridays’ offering deals on bottles of prosecco.
Starting this weekend, the pub will also be showing every single Men’s Six Nations game, offering a free pint of Guinness for every five purchased.
“I’m delighted and excited to be managing this beautiful pub, which has also been my local for many years,” said Dave.
“I look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones at our wonderful events and promotions we have lined up in 2025.”
Alongside the events is a new menu mixing comforting pub classics with hearty seasonal mains, from Korean fried chicken to double-baked Lyburn cheese souffle – all made using fresh ingredients sourced from local producers and suppliers.
The menu was put together by Matthew Whitfield, executive chef at Hampshire pub operator Ideal Collection, and will be delivered by The Bugle’s head chef James Plowright.
Visitors can also enjoy weekly ‘crew pot Tuesdays’, offering a drink and pot of the day for a set price of £17.50 per person.
