Silverlake Auto Recycling in Shedfield took home not one, or two, but three industry accolades at the ATF Professional Vehicle Awards last week.

Silverlake Auto Recycling logoThey were first crowned Recycled Vehicle Parts Supplier of the Year, recognising the success of their ‘full-service’ offering whereby parts are dismantled, quality graded by the team and supplied will full warranty.

The company also offers self-service via the U-Pick-It Yard, home to 350 breakers at any one time.

Next came the Salvage Company of the Year award, which Silverlake were happy to take home as a business which processes more than 35,000 salvage vehicles each year, sourced from insurers, garages, dealers and consumers.

The team capped off the evening with the Community Impact Award, a nod to the many local initiatives they’ve supported in recent years – as MD Allen Prebble discussed with Hampshire Biz News back in June.

Those include their training courses and work experience placements with local colleges, sponsorship of charities and groups like the Blue Lamp Trust and Eastleigh Football Club, and the UDonateacar.com scheme.

Allen PrebbleFollowing the triple win, Allen said: “I’m over the moon for the business to have received this trio of awards, and the associated industry recognition.

“None of this would be achievable without the dedication of our awesome people, and I’m full of admiration and thanks.

“I want to keep Silverlake and Hampshire where we belong by continuing to build on our many years of hard work and investment.”

That means ambitious plans to expand and update their facilities, helping to futureproof Silverlake as the country moves away from petrol and diesel and begins to embrace EVs.
