Lockhams Recycling in Shedfield are looking to boost efficiency and reach a wider customer base as they expand their fleet from five to seven vehicles.
Their new tipper lorry and grabber lorry represent a £300,000 investment from the family-owned business and boast a range of features, including GPS tracking and cameras to ensure safety.
The grabber lorry can hold up to 16 tonnes of waste at a time – the equivalent of around eight pick-up trucks – with an arm which can reach up to eight metres.
It will allow the team to transport and unload aggregates, gravel, dirt, rocks and construction debris more efficiently.
Conrad Collins, MD at Lockhams Recycling, said: “The whole team has been really excited by the arrival of the new vehicles.
“We’re proud of our impressive fleet, and it’s key to providing a great service to our clients.
“Our two new grab and tipper lorries have meant we can work with a wider range of clients across the region to provide quick and easy recycling solutions.”
