Max steps up as Regional Director at Berry Recruitment just in time for busy festive period

Max Perceau is set to head up Berry Recruitment’s three Hampshire branches as their new Regional Director.

He takes over from Angela Slack, who set up her local business Green Personnel in 1999 and soon grew to locations in Gosport and Eastleigh.

Angela sold to Hertfordshire-headquartered Berry in October 2012 with the intention of sticking around for just a year after the transition – but she enjoyed it so much that one year soon turned to 11.

Now she’ll be handing over the reins to Max as he looks to oversee branches in Southampton and Gosport.

“I’ve worked for Berry Recruitment in Southampton for a number of years and previously worked for the branch that Berry acquired”, said Max.

“We have a large team over the three branches that understands the area and the employment market extremely well.

“You can’t buy experience, and we have a great deal here which benefits both candidates and businesses.”

The firm secures permanent and temporary workers for a number of large clients in the county, particularly at this time of year.

“The need for staff will grow in the run-up to Christmas with retail, driving, warehouse, catering and hospitality all recruiting”, Max added.

“The outlook for the branches and the local economy is positive with businesses really looking to grow and expand.”
