Tax specialist “humbled” as she takes her seat on the board at Chandler’s Ford accountancy firm

HWB Chartered Accountants have moved to strengthen their tax advisory services with the promotion of Gemma Hedges to the role of Director.

HWB logoHaving joined the firm in January 2020 following 10 years with BDO and another three with PwC, Gemma was soon made Associate Director at HWB, and this latest move puts her on the board of directors alongside MD Tracy Jenkins.

As a private client tax advisory specialist, Gemma works with individuals and owner-managed businesses across a range of sectors, covering the tax implications of property, marriage and divorce, succession planning, trusts and death.

“Stepping up from Associate Director means I’m also able to play a greater role in the day-to-day running of the business, helping to shape the huge opportunity that exists to drive the firm forward.

“There is very much an air of optimism and invigoration around HWB at present, with the whole team striving to grow the business and seek new clients across all sectors.”

Gemma is supported on the fast-growing tax advisory team by Corporate Specialist Alan Rolfe, Manager Joe Wilson and Trainee Will Kent-Jones.
