Accountants Lewis Brownlee sponsored another successful Freya Rose Gala last Friday, joining guests in raising funds for the King’s Trust’s Change a Girl’s Life initiative.
The event, hosted by Southsea-based shoe and jewellery designer Freya Rose, gathered members of the local business community for an evening of glamour and giving.
Lewis Brownlee also brought back its popular balloon game, which invited participants to buy a confetti-filled balloon for £5 each before popping them all at the same time.
Tax director Andrea Todorov heads up Lewis Brownlee’s Whiteley office.
She said: “Supporting the King’s Trust’s Change a Girl’s Life Initiative aligns perfectly with our mission to give back to the communities we serve.
“We believe in creating opportunities, whether it’s empowering businesses through our advisory services or helping young women take control of their futures.
“It’s an honour to be part of this incredible event, which reflects our company’s values of connection, empowerment and making a meaningful impact.”
Last year’s event raised more than £10,000 for what was then The Prince’s Trust.
The charity’s Change a Girl’s Life aims to support young women who are facing adversity and help them pursue further education, training or work.
