Kimbridge Barn in Romsey has celebrated its sixth summer of events with record-breaking figures, capping off an eventful year for the award-winning venue.
Known for its rustic charm and locally-sourced food, the barn has hosted numerous unique events, boosting its footfall to an estimated 75,000 visitors in 2024, up from 30,000 in its opening year.
Since its debut in 2018, Kimbridge Barn has hosted over 250 weddings and served more than 10,000 luxury afternoon teas.
General manager Kris Anderson, who has been at the helm since day one, reflected on the journey: “It’s amazing to see how far we’ve come in six years, especially considering the challenges we faced during the COVID lockdowns. Navigating through those difficult times pushed us to be more creative and resilient.”
This summer’s events included the Ibiza-themed ‘Summer Sundowner’, which transformed the barn into a vibrant dancefloor with live music, and the ever-popular Friday wood-fire pizza nights, complete with performances from local musicians.
The season concluded with a bang at the ‘Feast Over Fire’, an evening of seafood grilled by the talented chefs right before guests’ eyes.
Kris added: “Planning and hosting events at Kimbridge is always incredibly fun and rewarding. The team takes great joy in tailoring everything to perfection, especially when it comes to hosting weddings.” He hinted at more exciting events on the horizon: “Keep your eyes peeled for some exciting events coming, particularly as we enter the festive period!”
