Staff at Barratt David Wilson Homes’ Southampton division embraced Wear it Pink Day last month, with everyone donning their best corals, salmons, orchids and peaches.

Barratt Homes logoThe event, organised by charity Breast Cancer Now, aims to raise awareness on behalf of the more than 55,000 people diagnosed with breast cancer each every year in the UK.

Breast Cancer Now is on a mission to ensure that everyone diagnosed with breast cancer lives, and is supported to live well, by 2050.

Tamsin Nichols, marketing co-ordinator and charity committee member at Barratt, said: “Many of us have been affected by breast cancer among our families, colleagues and friends.

“We wanted to help raise money for Breast Cancer Now, and it was great to have a bit of fun while raising money for such a good cause.”

To date, £41 million has been raised by the Wear it Pink campaign.
