The team at St Michael’s Hospice are inviting people to brave the hot coals and help raise vital funds for the specialist care they provide across Hampshire.
Their Firewalk fundraising challenge is set to take place on Friday 27th October at the hospice in Basingstoke.
Participants will receive top tips and training from a Firewalking UK expert before taking on the daredevil feat.
“We’re so excited for the comeback of the Firewalk”, said Becky Legate, Events Manager at St Michael’s Hospice.
“Not only is it a thrilling event, it’ll also help us raise much needed funds.
“With the cost of everything increasing, we really do depend on our community to help us offer our services.
“We can’t thank all our supporters enough for taking part in events like the Firewalk.”
The hospice provides free, compassionate care for people with life-limiting illnesses, as well as those who are nearing the end of life or have experienced a bereavement.
Places for the Firewalk this October are being snapped up fast, with only 80 slots available altogether.
