As one of the UK’s first green broadband providers, Earth Broadband has found a promising niche in the market – but they’re looking to reach a much larger audience.
The Ringwood firm helps eco-conscious customers plant trees and remove plastic from the world’s oceans as part of their broadband package, all at no additional cost.
Now they’re preparing to launch a campaign on crowdfunding platform Seedrs, where they’ll welcome new investors on board as shareholders in the company.
Spearheading the move is CEO Luke Chapman, who spoke with Hampshire Biz News back in May about the early days of Earth and his ambitions for the future.
“We’ve proven the concept, developed our system from the ground up, and are ready to take Earth to the next level and transform how people in the UK use their broadband for good”, said Luke.
“We’ll be rolling out additional climate action subscription features on our app, as well as finding new talent and growing our team in the UK and overseas.
“From day one, we’ve always said we’re building Earth Broadband with the people, for the people.
“What better than to give them the opportunity to invest and be a part of our future.”
Investors are now able to pre-register on Seedrs for priority access when the campaign goes live.
