Omega RE has been awarded B Corp accreditation, capping off a year which also saw the company recognised in business awards.

The award recognises the company’s commitment to high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. Omega RE says the accreditation aligns with its ‘mission to redefine success in business by prioritising social and environmental responsibility while maintaining a thriving commercial real estate enterprise’.

Omega RE also picked up the Business Leader and New Business of The Year awards at the South Coast Business Awards 2023.

Nella Pang, Managing Director of Omega RE, further solidified the company’s commitment to sustainability by completing a Sustainability in Real Estate qualification with Cambridge University.

She commented: ‘Not only do my team want to do their best for our commercial clients, but we want to show them that we are indeed committed to their futures and constantly developing our knowledge.’

Jonathan Trice, Director at Omega RE, shared his excitement, stating: “We are thrilled to have achieved the BCorp accreditation and the Business awards from the Daily Echo.

“These achievements reflect our unwavering commitment to our business practices, the future of workspaces, and delivering exceptional results for our clients.”

Looking ahead, Omega RE is set to expand its team, anticipating a doubling in size by the end of 2024. The company is eager to share its insights through podcasts and Q&A sessions with STEM industry and educational leaders, further enhancing its industry influence.

Omega RE is hosting a pivotal event at the Winchester Planetarium on Thursday February 22, focusing on “Does it Pay to Be Green?” The panel, featuring HSBC, Trustek, The Pollinator – B Local Hampshire, EDT Trust and Southampton Chamber of Commerce, will discuss Green Initiatives, Green Funding, and Grants, providing valuable insights into sustainable practices in business.
