Friends of PEDALL, a charity based in the New Forest that provides inclusive cycling opportunities, has announced the appointment of Mike Wilson, Partner at Moore Barlow, as a trustee.
Founded in 2017, PEDALL runs guided cycling sessions, helping those who might otherwise face barriers to cycling access the benefits of the New Forest National Park.
With over 4,500 rides supported annually, the charity uses a fleet of specialist cycles designed to accommodate a wide range of abilities. Families, friends, and carers are encouraged to join these sessions, which also extend to schools, colleges, care homes, and offer one-to-one rides.
Mike Wilson, Partner and Head of the Lymington office at Moore Barlow, specialises in high-value residential property transactions across the town, coast, and country. Moore Barlow is a top-100 UK law firm, with offices across six locations including Lymington and London.
Viliame Nanovo, Chair of Friends of PEDALL, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Mike to our board of trustees. His deep understanding of the local community, alongside his legal expertise, will be invaluable as we continue to ensure that cycling is accessible for everyone.”
Mike Wilson expressed his excitement: “It’s a real honour to join the board of trustees at Friends of PEDALL. The charity’s extraordinary work is transforming lives through cycling in our beautiful New Forest, and I’m eager to support their mission.”
PEDALL operates year-round, running rides from sites in Burley and Ashurst, and is supported by a dedicated team of 50 volunteers.
