Bargate Homes, a Hampshire-based housebuilder, is continuing its partnership with Southampton Football Club by funding 50 free places for the Saints Soccer Schools Programme in 2024/2025.
This initiative builds on last year’s launch, which also provided 50 free spots. The sessions, lasting a week, will culminate in a tour of the Premier League team’s Staplewood Training Campus.
The free spots are available to students eligible for the Pupil Premium scheme. Southampton Football Club will use its network of over 40 partner schools to select participants, offering them top-quality training from FA accredited coaches at no cost.
Mark White, Managing Director of Bargate Homes, said: “We’re delighted to be able to champion young talent by offering another 50 free soccer school places for local children. That’s a total of one hundred children we’ll support over our two-year partnership with Saints – something we’re incredibly proud of.
“This year, we’re enhancing the initiative by also funding a tour of the training ground. We’re fully committed to building strong, thriving communities and our partnership with Saints enables us to make a tangible difference to children who may not usually have the opportunity to attend.”

Bargate Homes is the Principal Partner of Saints Soccer Schools in mainland UK. Last year, the developer also sponsored the Saints Senior Christmas Lunch for 300 older adults, facilitating the largest free festive spread that Southampton FC’s official charity, Saints Foundation, has ever hosted.
