Cloud solutions firm is on cloud nine after their Spinnaker Tower abseil raises £16k for Solent Mind

Staff from Infinigate Cloud gathered with partners and local professionals recently to abseil down Portsmouth’s iconic Spinnaker Tower in aid of mental health charity Solent Mind.

36 brave participants took on the 170-metre descent as colleagues, friends and family cheered on from below.

Their efforts have so far raised £16,000 to help fund the charity’s services and support for people across Hampshire.

Michael Frisby, Senior Vice President of Cloud Services at Infinigate Cloud, said: “We’re delighted to have raised such a fantastic amount for Solent Mind, a charity that’s close to our hearts.

“Mental health is an important issue that affects many people in our industry and beyond, and we’re proud to support Solent Mind’s work in helping people cope and recover.

“We’d like to thank everyone who took part in the abseil, as well as those who sponsored us and supported us on the day.

“It was an amazing experience for an important cause.”

Joanne Silsbury, Corporate Liaison Officer at Solent Mind, added: “We’re thrilled to have taken part in the abseil event organised by Infinigate Cloud.

“It was a challenging but rewarding experience, and we’re grateful for the money that they raised for Solent Mind.

“This donation will make a huge difference to the lives of people who struggle with their mental health in Hampshire.”
