toob has invested £18m to build its own broadband infrastructure in Gosport, extending its offering to another 45,000 homes and businesses.
The rapidly expanding Portsmouth business connects homes directly to its 100 per cent full-fibre network, differentiating it from traditional providers which typically run old copper cables from cabinet to premises.
Many Gosport residents are already hooked up, with the rollout continuing across the town into 2024.
CEO Nick Parbutt said: “We’re delighted that we can now offer our service to Gosport.
“toob has been built on our belief that access to fast, reliable broadband at an affordable price is a necessity in today’s increasingly digital world.
“We’re committed to delivering the fastest and most reliable service, using the latest full-fibre technology, at an affordable price.
“Customers can rely on toob to provide broadband that simply works.”
The expansion comes off the back of two award wins for the business, including for Best Urban Fibre Provider.
They also recently secured £300 million in funding, enabling toob to make inroads in Fleet and across the border in Dorset.
