Vail Williams are sticking in Southampton for the foreseeable future as the property consultancy firm extend their lease for another six years.
They’ve also invested in a major makeover for their offices at Savannah House in Southampton’s Ocean Village, bringing in 26 workstations, three meeting or private study rooms and a new collaboration space.
The company has maintained a continuous presence in the city since the 1980s.
Russell Miller, regional managing partner for Vail Williams’ South Coast region, said: “There are nearly 8,000 businesses in Southampton, many of them with real estate requirements that we’ve been advising on over the past 35 years or so.
“Our commitment to this proud city, regarded as a gateway to the world for containers, cruise liners and car shipments, remains as strong as ever, which is why we’ve signed a new lease extension to 2030 on the office and invested a substantial figure in refurbishing the office to the highest of standards for staff and clients.”
Vail Williams manage Savannah House for the landlord, Poole-based Forelle Estates, and share the building with PwC and CBRE.
The Southampton team recently welcomed both David Podesta, an associate focused on property development consultancy, and Lucy Clifford Bowles, a senior surveyor on the building consultancy team.
