Solent Partners, the industry-led partnership, is preparing to run a series of free workshops where businesses will be able to find out how they can harness the power of AI.

The Simplify AI workshops are aimed at small businesses, marketeers, and freelance workers who are looking for an informed introduction to AI technologies.

The free-to-attend workshops will give non-tech small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) an overview of how to use AI tools such as Chat GPT, Google Gemini and MS Co-Pilot, to improve their business efficiency, enhance customer experience and boost growth.

Solent Partners Chair, Rachael Randall, said: “Our Simplify AI workshops are a brilliant opportunity for small businesses to embrace new technologies.

“We understand that AI can leave some people feeling overwhelmed, so we have designed these workshops to be accessible to those beginning their AI journey of discovery.

“The AI market is worth more than £16.9 billion* in the UK and is expected to grow rapidly with at least one in six UK organisations using AI technology at present. Now is the time to get on board and find out how AI can reap rewards for your own business.”

Solent Partners is working alongside Intergage Group Ltd Digital and Marketing Agency to run the 90-minute workshops, which start in Southampton and will be available on various dates, as either in-person or virtual events, in the New Forest, Havant and the Isle of Wight.

Solent Partners are partnering with New Forest District Council, Havant Borough Council, Isle of Wight Council and Southampton City Council to deliver these workshops in support of local businesses considering using AI.

Luke Williams, Group Head of AI at Intergage Group Ltd, will lead the workshops, providing SMEs with information about the practical applications of AI and how these can be applied to their current business and used for strategic planning. He said: “We are at a pivotal moment in the evolution of technology, where AI is not just an option but a necessity for growth. My focus is on harnessing the transformative power of AI to unlock unprecedented opportunities.

“We aim to empower businesses with AI-driven strategies that catalyse growth, enhance customer engagement, and streamline operations. We want to equip our clients with the most advanced AI solutions that not only meet the demands of today’s digital landscape but also anticipate the needs of tomorrow.

“We are proud to be supporting Solent Partners as part of their Simplify AI Roadshow and their mission to help small businesses, marketeers and professionals in the Solent region to understand the potential of AI.”

Solent Partners’ Tech/Digital Partnership Manager Rich Burn will be in attendance to demonstrate how AI support is being implemented across the Solent region.
