A Fareham-based business leader is helping people overcome their fears by taking part in workshops that include walking on hot coals and shards of glass.

Jeff Shrimpton, who’s been coaching business owners since 2015, has launched Evolution Empowerment Events – with signature activities including glass and fire walking, board breaking, trust falls and more.

He was inspired to start the business to help others after his own life was changed when he took part in a firewalk.

“I was in a rut, both personally and professionally”, said Jeff.

“I was suffering from depression that left me full of self-doubt. I was my own worst enemy.

“After taking part in a personal development workshop that ended with a firewalk in 2005, my life was transformed.

“I suddenly felt capable, courageous, and ready to take challenges head on.

“From that point on, my professional life flourished, and I became more and more successful.”

20 years on, Jeff is now a fully qualified firewalk instructor, and hopes to help others conquer their fears in the same way he did.

“I’m keen to help businesses propel their success to a new level by hosting team workshops that allow individuals to evolve”, he added.

“We’re not your typical self-help seminars – we’re about action, not just words.”

Participants so far have been full of praise, with Simon from Waterlooville saying the experience was ‘one of the best days of my life’.

Evolution Empowerment Events is open to bookings for charity days and personal or team building activities.
