From Friday 15 to Sunday 24 September, Southampton will once again be hosting its annual International Boat Show, with attractions old and new for all ages.
It’s grown over the past 54 years to become the most popular marine showcase in the UK, and among the largest across Europe, as hundreds of exhibitors and more than 650 vessels are due to set sail for Mayflower Park.
Among this year’s attractions are the popular Watersports Zone, featuring various kit from surfboards to water-skis and experts on hand to help visitors get hands-on with state-of-the-art equipment.
There’s also the On the Water Zone for paddleboards and speedboat rides, or Try-a-Boat for trips out on yachts, motorboats, and RIBs.
Besides the marine attractions, there will also be plenty of local food and drink businesses about to sate visitors’ appetites, including the Guinness Bar and Quarterdeck Bar & Restaurant.
Adult tickets are on sale now from £26, while up to two children aged 15 or under go free with every paying adult.
