Peter Cooper Motor Group launches Kia showroom – at the same site it all began 40+ years ago

The Peter Cooper Motor Group has unveiled a new Kia showroom and aftersales facility at its Hedge End site.

Managing director Darren Cooper was joined by Southampton football legend James Beattie to cut the ribbon at the former Prestige Cars site, which has now relocated to West End Southampton.

The move also pays homage to the group’s heritage, as the Peter Cooper business began its journey at this same Hedge End site more than 40 years ago.

“It’s been a fantastic night,” said Darren Cooper, group managing director.

“I was delighted to meet and talk to many of our new Kia customers, as well as customers who have been part of the Peter Cooper Motor Group success for over 40 years and remember us from when we first started all those years ago.

“Our new Peter Cooper Kia Hedge End showroom represents the group’s continued commitment to delivering exceptional automotive experiences to its customers.

“Modern, spacious and featuring state-of-the-art facilities, the showroom has been designed to showcase Kia’s vehicles in a welcoming and customer-focused environment.”

Darren added: “These strategic relocations and redevelopments reflect our commitment to providing the best possible service to our customers.

“We’re excited to welcome all our existing and new customers to each site.”

The facility includes a seven-car showroom dedicated to new vehicles, as well as plenty of space for used cars.

There’s also improved service and MOT facilities and a bodyshop.
