Following a successful event earlier this year, Hampshire-based marina operator MDL has announced plans to expand the South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show 2025.
Taking place from 9 to 11 May at Southampton’s Ocean Village Marina – slightly later to capture the warmer weather – the show will feature an extended waterside area opposite the Banana Wharf restaurant, providing space for a larger and more diverse fleet of boats.
As before, MDL will host an array of on-water and shoreside exhibitors showing off motorboats, sailing yachts, RIBs and the latest in electric and sustainable marine technologies.
The three-day event will also feature talks at the Innovation Hub on the main stage, with speakers covering sustainability initiatives and ocean preservation strategies, along with expert-led panel discussions and Q&As.
Throughout the show, visitors will be able to enjoy displays and live demos from the likes of Arcona, SE Yachts, Dufour, Universal Yachting, Beneteau, Lagoon, Ancasta, Pure Latitude Boat Club, Windy Boats, Saltwater Solutions, Viggo Boats and Pantaenius Yacht Insurance.
“We’re thrilled with the new extension, which will help us meet the demand from the ever-growing number of boating brands eager to exhibit at the show,” said Tim Mayer, sales and marketing director at MDL Marinas.
“Our South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show has seen an increase in exhibitors year on year, and 2025 looks to be shaping up to be our best year yet.
“The new extension is an integral part of this growth, enabling visitors and serious buyers to step aboard even more vessels from some of the most renowned boating brands in the marine industry.”
Entry to the show is free and tickets will be available from 15 December 2024.
Visitors will also be able to schedule appointments to view specific boats or meet with individual exhibitors.
