Enviromena is giving back to the community near their Three Maids Hill solar farm development as they fund a new addition to Littleton playground near Winchester.

Cllr Liz Winn said: “This new equipment is part of the Parish Council’s plan to continually improve the quality and safety of our playgrounds.

“With the money we’ve received we’ve been able to supplement the budget to replace them and now have a multi-challenge climbing structure which is also an attractive addition to the playground.

“We’re really pleased that it is already being well used.”

Three Maids represents the first development in Enviromena’s UK portfolio, with a slew of projects currently underway across Europe.

Mark HardingThe 110-acre site generates enough electricity to power 9,500 homes and offset 6,800 tons of CO2 emissions a year.

Mark Harding, European Development Director at Enviromena, added: “Our sites promote the use of cleaner, greener energy.

“The project will have a major impact and provide communities with cheaper energy for many years to come – especially at a time when gas and electricity prices have reached record highs.”
