Steve Rodgers is a Romsey-based professional driver who has worked for some huge names, including tennis stars Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic along with UEFA officials and leading industry figures.

Now, he’s driving ahead with a new venture after forming CLASS Executive Cars, with the aim of addressing a gap in the market for people who need a reliable and cost-effective driver for business and social engagements.

Utilising more than 40 years’ experience and fully licensed, CLASS has a range of premium chauffeur services for both private individuals and corporate clients, which includes airport and cruise transfers, corporate hospitality and special events.

On the occasion a client would prefer to use their own car, CLASS can provide a fully qualified and experienced driver to take the wheel.

A police trained driver, Steve has had some fascinating assignments both at home and abroad.

Last summer he chauffeured senior UEFA officials in England for the UEFA Women’s Championship which saw the Lionesses beat Germany 2-1 in the final at Wembley.

Eight months earlier he was a driver for, among others, Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic who were playing the Laver Cup at the O2 in London, which pits six of the best men’s tennis players from Europe against six of their best counterparts from the rest of the world.

He said: “With the unpredictability of public transport and with safety, reliability and confidentiality our top priorities, we offer a service where our clients can concentrate on their engagements while we handle the logistics.

“Already we’re off to a flying start and I’m looking forward to meeting new clients.”
