CBRE, the global real estate advisory firm, has appointed Tej Singh as the new head of its Southampton office.
Tej, who has been with the company for ten years, will step into his new role on 1 October 2024, succeeding long-serving leader James Brounger.
Tej’s promotion marks a new chapter for the Southampton branch.
Having joined CBRE in 2014, he quickly became a key player in projects across the UK and the south coast, working with investors, developers, and local authorities.
Tej was promoted to Director in 2019, and his extensive experience is expected to further bolster the company’s presence in the region.
Tej expressed his excitement about the role: “I am honoured to take on the role of Head of the Southampton office.
“The real estate market on the south coast has fantastic potential, and I look forward to continuing to work with our talented colleagues to deliver exceptional client outcomes.”
James Brounger, who has led CBRE Southampton for 14 years, will remain based in the city, focusing on client management and strategic growth initiatives across the South Coast and Midlands.
Reflecting on his tenure, James said: “It has been a privilege to lead the Southampton office, and I am proud of all we have achieved. Tej has an impressive track record, and I have no doubt he will be an outstanding successor.”
