A Hampshire housebuilder has received the maximum 5 Star rating for the eighth year running in an independent customer satisfaction survey.

Churchill Retirement Living achieved its highest-ever satisfaction rating in the national survey by industry body the Home Builders Federation (HBF).

It asked new apartment owners how satisfied they were with the quality of their new property and whether they would recommend their housebuilder to a friend.

Over 97 per cent of customers said they would recommend Churchill meaning the company once again achieved a five star rating.

Spencer J McCarthy, Chairman and CEO, said: “We are delighted to have maintained our top 5 Star customer satisfaction rating for an eighth consecutive year, with our highest ever satisfaction rating of 97.1%.

“At Churchill we pride ourselves on providing the highest quality retirement apartments and the best customer service, so to achieve these results based on an independent survey of our Owners is a real credit to our whole team.”

Ringwood-based Churchill Retirement Living specialises in purpose-built apartments designed specifically to meet the needs of older people.

The aim is to enable them to enjoy an active, independent and sociable lifestyle in their retirement.

Its self-contained apartments are provided for sale within a single block.

They are sold with a lease containing an age restriction which ensures that only people of 60 years or over, or those over this age with a partner of at least 55, can live in them.

The Churchill Retirement Group has built and continues to manage over 200 developments located throughout the country.

The family-run company has won a large number of awards over the years and was ranked 3rd in The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For 2020.

The full results of the HBF survey, which is in its 18th year, can be found here.
