The Portswood venue will also serving up brunch and sourdough pizzas, while head of coffee Wilson Law Wai Shing is set to oversee the roastery – featuring Southampton’s first Mod Bar espresso machine.
Spencer Bowman (above centre), founder and MD of Mettricks, said: “Speciality coffee and craft beer have gone hand in hand at Mettricks since 2013.
“It feels like a dream come true to share this exciting moment in time with Jimmy and Wilson as we bring Ascapart to life.

The venue will be open until 11pm at 267 Portswood Road, Southampton, SO17 2LA.
