Among the six senior promotions are Kirsty Thomas and Nicki Pickering, who have made Partner and Associate Partner respectively in the audit and assurance department.

They’re joined by four new directors, bolstering the Southampton leadership team – Charlotte Attrill, Chris Randall and Meg White in audit and assurance, as well as Sophie Sellars in transaction services.

Claire SiviterClaire Siviter, Practice Senior Partner at Deloitte Southampton, said: “This is the highest number of senior promotions we’ve had at the practice since it was set up over 30 years ago, and I want to congratulate everyone on their achievement.

“It’s especially rewarding to see promotions to the partner grade for two colleagues who joined us as graduates and have built their careers in Southampton.

“Southampton was one of Deloitte’s first virtual communities, and the record number of promotions this year is testament to the commitment and quality of our people within a successful hybrid working model.”

This round of promotions included five women, making 11 of the 13 partners and directors at the Southampton practice female – a point of pride for Senior Partner and Chief Executive Richard Houston.

Richard HoustonHe added: “While we still have progress to make, I’m pleased to see increased representation of women and people from ethnic minority backgrounds among our most senior leaders.

“Creating an inclusive workplace remains a critical priority and we continue to take action to ensure we have a strong, diverse pipeline of talent.

“Promotions are an important part, but in addition we’ve invested in enhanced policies on parental leave, bereavement and menopause, alongside fully funded private medical insurance for all our people.”
