ProGroup Recruitment celebrates four years of growth in fire protection and property services

Southampton’s ProGroup Recruitment, a specialist agency in fire protection and property services recruitment, is marking its fourth anniversary with strong growth and several key achievements.

Founded in 2020, the company has established itself as a major player, providing nationwide staffing solutions while maintaining close ties to its local roots.

Director Jack McArthur, a proud Southampton native, credited his hometown as being instrumental to the company’s success.

This approach has seen the company thrive, particularly in 2024, when it completed 430 placements, gained 18 new clients, and earned 24 five-star reviews across Trustpilot and Google.

Despite challenges facing the wider UK recruitment industry, including a 14 per cent rise in agency insolvencies, ProGroup has continued to grow, a testament to its resilience.

ProGroup’s fire protection sector is seeing a rise in demand, which Mackay attributes to growing awareness around fire safety.

The company also invests heavily in its team, offering a dedicated training budget to ensure consultants stay at the forefront of the industry.
