Barnsgrove, a newly opened private members’ club in northeast Hampshire, is looking to attract small businesses and entrepreneurs with its office facilities.
The 20,000 ft clubhouse, situated a short distance from Basingstoke on land owned by fifth-generation farmers James and Jo Butler, is home to offices for up to seven people and resident desks.
Also on the site are a cafe and bar, fitness studio, multi-functional gym, rentable meeting and event spaces, and rooms for beauty and wellness treatments.
“In creating Barnsgrove, we were driven by the desire to forge a real sense of community and an emphasis on life balance to elevate the everyday,” said Jo.
“Companies are now emphasising the importance of surroundings and extracurricular activities to boost workplace productivity.
“People care about this stuff. They care about how a place looks and feels, they care that the carbon footprint is going in the right direction, and they want to know how they can find proper balance during the working day.
“Exercising, nutritional (and delicious) food and enough downtime all do wonders for employees’ welfare and their productive output.
“Barnsgrove is all over this.”
The club is open from 7am to 7pm from Sunday to Wednesday, or 10pm from Thursday to Saturday.
