Local entrepreneurs and working mums Claire Knowlton and Chernice Thompson are hosting a free business advice event in Hythe this weekend to kickstart their new venture.
The drop-in launch event for Mums Mean Business will give attendees the chance to meet the co-founders, see the office and receive free business development, marketing and social media advice – all over a glass of prosecco.
Claire, a business coach, mentor and marketing specialist, is the owner of Biz Box UK, while Chernice is a social media coach and content creator who collaborates with big-name brands.
PR expert and journalist Kerri L Watt will also be there sharing tips to landing media coverage.
Co-founder Claire Knowlton said: “We’re mums all trying to survive, so I wanted to get a small group together for networking, referring business to each other, as well as support in a tricky business world.
“The launch of Mums Mean Business is just the start of a bigger picture we have for more business support and networking for all genders and business types.
“I want our office to buzz with fun, ideas, people and success!
“We aren’t selling anything at our launch event – it’s just an opportunity to meet local business owners, show them our space and also share our advice for free as a bonus for coming.”
The Mums Mean Business launch takes place from 12pm to 2pm on Saturday 16 November at 13 Marsh Parade in Hythe.
