Experienced new General Manager for Gosport microbiologists Wickham Micro

Dr. Rob Turner has arrived at the Gosport lab of contract testing firm Wickham Micro as its new General Manager.

Rob brings to the role 21 years of experience in microbiology, many of which he spent with MedPharm. He also holds a PhD in microbial bio-adhesion and drug delivery.

As General Manager, Rob will guide an evolution in the company’s services and processes to better meet the demands of both customers and regulators in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.

In addition to laboratory and testing services, Wickham Micro offers global support and consultancy services relevant to a wide range of medical device and pharmaceutical development and manufacturing concerns.

The company is hosting a Learning Centre of Testing Excellence at Making Pharmaceuticals UK 2023 to showcase the latest developments in Microbiology Testing, Analytical Chemistry, Physical and Packaging Testing for Pharmaceuticals.
