Aldershot Enterprise Centre has quickly become an integral part of both the town and county’s business landscape – now the team are hoping to take things one step further.
Refurbishment works are almost complete at their new premises at 14-40 Victoria Road, a short walk from Aldershot railway station.
Bigger and better than before, the centre will offer office and co-working space, meeting rooms for hire, a business address facility, on-site parking and a large, modern café.
Staff are looking forward to moving in on Tuesday 1 August.
Centre Manager Lorna Oldham said: “We’re so excited for this next chapter at Aldershot Enterprise Centre.
“We’ve been fortunate to find a space helps us to offer a more secure future for the small businesses and startups of Hampshire.
“In an ideal town centre location, we can continue our promise to help local businesses find a home and develop their companies with a trusted, transparent and reliable office provider.
“We’re incredibly proud that after almost nine years operating in Aldershot and helping hundreds of local businesses that we can continue the same great service helping the local community build businesses that thrive.”
Established in 2014 at Mandora House, the centre has since grown to accommodate more than 150 local businesses and create upwards of 400 jobs.
Their latest move was facilitated by Fareham’s WSX Developments, with investment from Rushmoor Borough Council.
Council Leader David Clifford added: “We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Aldershot Enterprise Centre to Victoria Road.
“This building, once fitted out, will be an important part of our regeneration of the town centre, and we hope to have many more businesses joining them there.
From the new site, the team plan to continue offering wrap-around support for their tenants, including superfast internet, reception service and anything else they might need to run a business.
