Underwater tech firm set to make waves across the Atlantic alongside newly appointed US resellers

Based in Yateley but with markets across the world, Sonardyne have strengthened their position in the American market as they forge a partnership with Aquatic Sensors.

Sonardyne logoThe Silicon Valley firm, which has collaborated with Sonardyne’s sister company Chelsea Technologies for the past two decades, was announced as their latest US reseller at the OCEANS 2023 conference in Mississippi.

Aquatic Sensors’ initial focus will be to introduce the Origin 600, an acoustic doppler current profiler (ADCP) for measuring the velocity of water currents, to clients in the US.

Simon Reeves, Vice President of Sonardyne Inc, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Aquatic Sensors on board as our North American resellers.

“Their knowledge of the industry is second to none, as is their experience of the North American market.

“We’re confident that they’ll provide our customers with the best possible support and service.”

His enthusiasm was echoed by Aquatic Sensors’ Sales and Marketing Director, Andrea Zappe.
