Friday saw twelve yachts from the construction and property industries participate in the second annual South Coast Construction and Property Sailing Regatta.
Each yacht carries a professional skipper and can host competitive teams of eight or ten people, whether they are experienced sailors or novices.

The day began with breakfast and a safety briefing at Banana Wharf and despite the damp conditions, chilly temperatures and choppy waves, all participants had a fantastic time.
The event was sponsored by Gracelands Ground Works and Civil Engineering, Connect It Utility Services, and MSP Capital. The teams battled it out on the Solent, and Gracelands emerged as the winner, with Connect It taking second place and Dutton Gregory & Sillence Hurn securing third place.
Lucy Richmond from South Coast CPS commented, “What a day! We had the perfect weather for racing, and it was great to see so many happy guests. The aim of the event is to encourage teamwork and development, and it’s always inspiring to see people working together
