Earth Environmental and Geotechnical Ltd (EEG), with offices in Southampton, has been acquired by Guildford-based Technics Group in a deal advised by Trethowans.
Founded in 2013 by Adam and Elizabeth Czarnecki, EEG delivers specialist geotechnical and environmental consultancy services to clients across a range of sectors nationwide.
Adam is now set to transition into a business development role, while existing regional directors Simon Leat, John Grace and Paul Finnimore will also continue with the company.
John Macintyre, managing director at Technics, said: “We’re excited by the opportunity this acquisition provides to our existing team and the staff in EEG.
“When we first started our discussions with Adam, we could see so many synergies in our values, our professional approach to projects and the value we offer to our clients.
“We want to thank Lucy Gleisner and her team at Trethowans for their professionalism and expertise during the successful acquisition.
“They explained complex legal terms clearly, ensuring we remained well-informed. We appreciate their guidance.”
Trethowans partner Lucy was supported by senior associate Jonathan Sherman through the deal.
She added: “We’re pleased to have supported Technics in this strategic acquisition, which has increased their resources by 50 per cent.
“This marks a significant step in their sustainable growth journey, and it’s been a pleasure to work with the team on this milestone.”
