Richard’s move to Commercial Director follows huge five-year growth for Southampton IT firm

Following major expansion in recent years, IT services and support business Aura Technology have announced Richard Flanders as their new Commercial Director.

In his previous role as Customer Strategy Director, Richard has played a key role in driving Aura’s signature technology roadmap, offering clients a comprehensive review and audit before producing a bespoke package of products and services to help meet their needs.

All the while he’s also worked closely with suppliers and Aura’s product board – both of which have come along significantly in the span of just a few years.

“When I first joined Aura in 2018 there were five of us”, said Richard, “and now there’s more than a hundred. We’ve seen great growth.

“Our customers will always be at the heart of what we do.

“We’re looking to improve all areas of their IT with a focus on delivering exceptional end-user experience through new and improved IT services and products.

“It’s part of my role to look at it from the perspective of the clients’ needs, but also to manage and have a great relationship with our suppliers.”

The business has offices in both Southampton and London, all under the leadership of MD Tim Walker.

He added: “At Aura, we’re dedicated to ensuring everyone who works here has the chance to excel – what we do here is a real team effort.
