Purehold, a family-run hygiene solutions business from Portsmouth, has launched a new product to “completely overhaul the way toilets are cleaned”.

Purehold logoStepFresh is a compact cleaning accessory positioned next to the toilet.

With a press of the foot, it dispenses bleach or toilet cleaner around the bowl and breaks down stains, eliminating the need for rim blocks or scrubbing.

Simple to install and suitable for various toilet bowl sizes, it has a discreet tube system that feeds into and encircles the entire bowl.

Matt Roberts“Toilet cleaning is the most unpleasant cleaning task and one that most people hate – but StepFresh changes this entirely,” said Matt Roberts, inventor of StepFresh and managing director of Purehold.

“It’s a product that makes the entire process effortless and efficient for everyone, from young children to the elderly or individuals with arthritis.

“I believe this product will transform the way people approach toilet cleaning, improving hygiene standards and saving time.”

Among the company’s other products is the Purehold PRO – a government-funded hygienic door handle developed in conjunction with the NHS.

The device automatically dispenses sanitising gel onto the user’s hand as they open the door, and is used in food processing plants and hospitals.

StepFresh is currently available on Amazon or direct from Purehold.

Matt’s hoping to find a retail or distribution partner in the long term to help bring his innovation to more homes across the UK and beyond.
