Newly-elected MP Liz Jarvis has visited the Hampshire headquarters of Selwood, the specialist in pump rental and engineered water handling solutions.
The MP for Eastleigh was given a tour of the company’s manufacturing facility, where pumps are designed and built for use in its rental fleet domestically and internationally.
She also learned about the company’s growth, commitment to sustainability and work in the community and met Dan Lee, CEO of Selwood’s parent company Workdry.
Selwood employs more than 500 staff across a UK-wide branch network.
Liz said: “It was a pleasure visiting Selwood, and seeing what Selwood do and how they provide support and employment to the community.
“The commitment of Selwood and Workdry to spearhead innovative initiatives and sustainable growth is truly commendable.”
Dan said: “It was great to welcome Liz Jarvis MP to Selwood and for her to see first-hand how we provide exceptional solutions and services, with a focus on sustainability and workplace safety and how we strive to contribute to our community here in Chandler’s Ford and at our branches across the UK.”
