Hampshire-born beauty salon Mooeys is preparing to open its newest location in Winchester, with franchise owner Katie Jansons at the helm.

Born and raised in the city, Katie is a longtime client of Mooeys turned entrepreneur.

“I see our salon becoming a beloved part of the Winchester community,” she said – “a place where we can continue to innovate and set standards in the beauty industry.

“We’re excited about what lies ahead!”

Mooeys prides itself on its ‘comMoonity’-focused approach, and founder Amy Lewis promises the Winchester location will follow suit.

“Each Mooeys location is a home away from home, where warmth and excellence are at the heart of everything we do,” said Amy.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Katie and her team to our family.

“Their dedication to creating an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere is exactly what Mooeys stands for.”

Katie added: “Mooeys isn’t just about beauty treatments; it’s about creating a space where everyone feels like they belong.

“Our goal is for every client to feel welcomed and valued – the same way I felt during my first visit to Mooeys.

“We’re so excited to open and welcome the Winchester community.”

Located in the heart of the city at 36 The Brooks Shopping Centre, Mooeys Winchester will offer a range of beauty treatments.

It marks the brand’s seventh location since Amy first set up shop in Farnham back in 2012.

Her ambition is to set up a Mooeys in every market town across the UK – and perhaps even overseas.

“Many of our franchise owners, like Katie, started as clients or staff members at Mooeys,” said Amy.

“Their transformation into business owners is a testament to Mooeys nurturing environment, which fosters growth and confidence.

“Each product from our wax formulas to our aftercare lotions and cuticle oils is designed, created, and produced by our expert team.

“This hands-on approach ensures that our services and products are perfectly aligned with our clients’ needs, guaranteeing both safety and efficacy.”

Amy, Katie and the team at Mooeys Winchester will hold their grand opening on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 July.

Bookings will be open from the week commencing Monday 22 July, with Mooeys offering free child manicures (3 to 16 years old) for every adult manicure or pedicure booked.
