New Way House, a mixed-use property in Petersfield, has been acquired by a private buyer.
The building on 1–4 Peter’s Road houses independent coffee shop Josie’s, which has four other locations across Hampshire – in Bishop’s Waltham, Winchester, Romsey and Chandler’s Ford.
Above that sit two first-floor residential flats. Both parties are unaffected by the sale.
Ben Duly, Senior Surveyor at Vail Williams who oversaw the deal, said: “We were instructed by the owners to seek offers of around £785,000 and there were a number of interested parties.
“New Way House was purchased for close to the asking price, and a purchase at this level would reflect a net initial yield of 6.47 per cent.
“There are two flats above generating income through rent as well.”
