A new dedicated end-of-life and palliative care service has been unveiled in Hampshire.
Cllr Nick Couldrey, Mayor of Eastleigh, joined staff for the official launch of Whispers Specialist Care.
It offers a range of services tailored to meet the unique needs and wishes of individuals during their most challenging times.
The service focuses on providing comfort, dignity and emotional support to both clients and their families in Hampshire and surrounding counties.
Cllr Couldrey praised Whispers Care for its commitment to the community.
He said: “Whispers has been a beacon of hope and support in Eastleigh.
“With the launch of Whispers Specialist Care, they extend their compassionate reach, ensuring that end-of-life care is accessible and empathetic.”
Sean Brewer, Marketing Manager at Whispers, said: “Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of those in their most vulnerable phase.
“This service is not just about medical care; it’s about providing a supportive, understanding environment where individuals and their families can find comfort and peace.”
The initiative has already been met with widespread appreciation.
As well as medical support, Whispers Specialist Care will also focus on psychological and emotional well-being, recognising the holistic needs of end-of-life care.
