Helping Dogs and Cats charity is looking to find a new office space that better suits the expanding operation.
The charity has been offered a spot at Festival Place but needs to find a way to come up with £15,000 to cover 6 months rent whilst also thinking about covering the charity’s £2000 monthly vet bill.
Founded by Kirsty Wrightson as a community interest charity, Helping Dogs and Cats runs a foodbank, microchipping service, and sells second-hand/affordable clothing and household items. The charity also rescues and rehabilitates dogs and cats.
A spokesperson for the charity said: “We work closely with the community to help keep their animals in their homes by offering dog walking services to those with a disability, people struggling with feeding their animals, but also any other help and advice.
“Helping dogs and cats provides work experience to the younger generations within our rescue. We need you to help us fundraise to cover the costs of our new potential home.”
