Colleagues at STS Defence will be taking part in the Extra Mile Challenge later this month, cycling 500 miles in relay through the Loire valley region of France.
Riding alongside sister company Axis Electronics, this event will be their first since joining Cicor Group at the start of the year.
They’re raising money in aid of the Gosport Cafe Hub run by FirstLight Trust, a veterans’ charity which looks to support mental wellbeing and prevent homelessness.
Ben Stancliffe, managing director of STS Defence, said: “I’m delighted that we have five willing volunteers to undertake this challenge, raising much needed funds for our chosen local charity.
“I’d like to thank everyone who’s sponsored us so far.”
The relay takes place between 20 and 22 September.
A portion of proceeds will also go towards other charities supported by the Extra Mile Challenge.
