Research shows that only 18 per cent of chartered surveyors are female – but Rebecca Wheeler and Sau-Wan Lai have been bucking that trend for the past five years now.

Rebecca is based on the Island and Sau-Wan in Waterlooville, and together they share a combined 35 years of experience in the commercial property sector.

Rebecca WheelerRebecca said: “We’re in an incredibly male-dominated industry, so to have two women own a commercial surveying company is extremely rare.

“We’re so proud of how far we’ve come and what we still have yet to accomplish.”

Over that time they’ve developed strong client relationships with both individual landlords and larger brands like Red Funnel.

Sau-Wan LaiSau-Wan added: “We’re so grateful to celebrate five years of our company.

“Supporting our customers along with our own personal development and growth has been key to our success.

“We love the variety of our clients and we’d love to be known as the number one commercial surveying firm for customer service in Hampshire and Isle of Wight.”
