Just Ears Clinic, the ear care specialists with 16 locations across the South Coast are celebrating after treating their 50,000th patient.

Just Ears specialises in ear wax removal using the microsuction process, a method the clinic introduced in response to safety concerns raised by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence about ear syringing.

This technique uses a miniature vacuum and a microscope, ensuring a swift and safe removal of accumulated earwax. The use of a microscope enhances visibility, making Microsuction a safer and more effective option compared to ear syringing.

Since establishment in 2011, Just Ears Clinic has successfully treated approximately 100,000 ears from ages 12 and upwards, offering relief to numerous patients experiencing difficulties in hearing due to blocked ears.

Just Ears also offer other services such as hearing assessments, hearing aids and custom made ear plugs from several of their clinics.

The 50,000th patient, Mr. Roy Gover, shared his positive experience saying, “I chose Just Ears for the ease and efficiency compared to previous methods I received such as syringing.”

With GP Practices no longer offering ear syringing, and with extended hospital waiting times, more individuals are turning to Microsuction at Just Ears as a quick and efficient means to restore normal hearing.

Just Ears Clinic stands as one of the few private earwax removal services on the South Coast that is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in order to assure their patients safety.

“I express my heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated team and the 50,000 patients for their trust and support,” said Dr. Aigbs Ohiwerei, Director at Just Ears Clinic.

“We emphasise the clinic’s commitment to delivering the best possible ear care service and acknowledge the positive feedback that has fuelled our success.”
