Double delight for PortaSauna as it partners with Golden Coast and also doubles product range

A pioneering portable sauna business based in Hampshire has secured a major distribution partner and also doubled its product range.

Launched at the start of this year, Portsmouth-based PortaSauna has landed a deal with pool, spa and sauna experts Golden Coast, one of the country’s leading distributors for the wet leisure industry.

The agreement is  a major coup for PortaSauna, founded by entrepreneur Jordan Boon, which has been seen demand for its portable sauna steadily increase over the course of the year.

The deal with Golden Coast, which has relationships with more than 300 retailers, will see them take an initial 30 units of PortaSauna’s wood-fired HEX model portable sauna.

The number could rise to 150 by the end of the year.

The HEX is PortaSauna’s upgraded base model, which has been designed in the UK for ease of use in any outdoor location.

It features a 1.8m x 1.8m x 2.1m sauna tent capable of holding four people.

The tent has a waterproof 420D cotton outer fabric, 170gsm cotton insulation, fire retardant 210D cotton and a 430 stainless steel stove.

The HEX kit also includes a range of sauna accessories including four PortaSauna sauna hats, fire retardant gloves, thermometer, and a cedar bench.

In addition to the agreement, PortaSauna has doubled its product range with the addition of a new larger HEX XL sauna tent, which can comfortably cater for six to eight people.

Both models are easy to erect and can reach 90° Celsius within 30 minutes.

“The sauna market has been witnessing a boom in the UK and our portable saunas are an incredibly cost effective way to have a home sauna set-up.

“They are also easily transported so you can enjoy the full sauna experience at the beach, the countryside or your favourite bolthole.”

Golden Coast, which has been in the industry for more than 45 years and merged with the Pollet Pool Group in 2022, will initially stock the HEX with the potential to add the HEX XL in the future.

Golden Coast is now receiving advance orders for the PortaSauna Hex.
