Central South, the business-led consortium representing the central south region, is preparing to send its largest contingent yet to MIPIM, the leading and influential property event.
MIPIM in Cannes will welcome 22,500 delegates and 6,500 investors coming together from the 11th to 15th March and the consortium drawn together by Business South will be flying the flag for the Central South region.
The 45-strong private sector-led group travelling to MIPIM will include representatives from Atkins Realis, Blake Morgan, Boyle & Summers, Cavendish, Edgingtons, Go Southampton, Hampshire Chamber of Commerce, Igloo, Knights Brown, Kier, Maritime UK Solent, Morgan Sindall Group, Ordnance Survey, Savills, Solent Freeport, Solent Partners, T H Planning and the University of Southampton.
Portsmouth City Council, Fareham Borough Council and Basingstoke & Deane Council have also added their support to the project.

Business South Group CEO, Leigh-Sara Timberlake said: “Support from across the region means we will be able to deliver clear messaging about the huge potential of the Central South UK.
“This is the third year in a row that we have attended MIPIM Cannes and I am delighted that so many businesses will be joining us to promote everything that is so great about our region.”
This year for the first time, Ordnance Survey has worked with the delivery team to create an interactive map which will highlight investment opportunities.
“We are delighted that Ordnance Survey, the home of mapping which is based in our region, has been able to support us,” added Leigh-Sara Timberlake.
As well as delivering a full programme of events on their stand, the Central South UK will also be represented on the UK stage and speakers will include Lord Dominic Johnson, Minister for Investment in the Department for Business and Trade.
