A new six-month business builder programme is coming to Southampton and Fareham – as well as online – to help entrepreneurs, fledgling businesses and SMEs develop and grow.
Led by Aspire4Business founder Beverley Poole, the Twilight Business Academy ‘Night School’ will cover topics including business strategy, marketing, financial management, leadership, and digital innovation.
Participants will take part in workshops and receive one-to-one mentoring from Beverley and her team of experts, as well as network with fellow business owners.
“We’re delighted to bring the Twilight Business Academy Night School to the South Central area,” said Beverley.
“Our goal is to create a dynamic and supportive environment where entrepreneurs and small business owners can thrive.
“With the right tools and guidance, we believe they can achieve remarkable growth and success.”
Beverley has experience in both business and education, having grown businesses for herself and others – both in London and locally.
Her career has seen her serve on the board of a PLC subsidiary and work with the likes of the British Museum, Jaguar, and Blue Circle Cement.
“After the changes to business post-pandemic and the development of my online Aspire4Business Academy hosting platform, my team and I looked at how we could support businesses,” she added.
“Especially those who are still working but thinking about launching their side hustle and creating a work-life balance.”
The programme will begin at Fareham Innovation Centre in Lee-on-Solent on Wednesday 18 September 2024, recurring every third Wednesday of the month until a final session in February.
It will also be held at Southampton’s Ocean Village Innovation Centre on Thursday 26 September, recurring every fourth Thursday.
And for those interested in taking the course remotely, the online programme kicks off on Tuesday 22 October, recurring every fourth Tuesday.
In January 2025, the academy will also offer franchised opportunities for business specialists interested in becoming mentors, with 10 locations already identified.
